Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers and hosts at UKAS 2026 are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

The UK Archaeological Sciences Conference 2026 in Bristol will bring together researchers from across the globe to share the latest advancements in archaeological science, with a special focus on bridging disciplines to forge new connections between fields. We value the engagement of each attendee and work to ensure all participants have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. 

Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees throughout the event. All attendees, speakers and volunteers attending UKAS 2026 are required to agree with the following code of conduct.  Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody. Thank you for helping make this a welcoming, friendly event for all. 

Our team is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, in-person and online conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of session participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any workshop platform, including talks, panels, networking sessions, and online media. Session participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference at the discretion of the organisers.
