To ensure UKAS 2026 runs as smoothly as possible, we politely request that all presenters read the following guidelines. During the conference, oral presentations will take place all day on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday morning. Presentations from all themes will be spread throughout the sessions and will not be grouped thematically. There is a single poster session in the evening of Tuesday 31st March; however, posters will be viewable throughout the conference at coffee and lunch breaks.
Oral Presentations
· Oral presentations are expected to be delivered in-person.
· Each talk should be 10-12 minutes long to allow for 3-5 minutes for questions within a 15- minute timeslot.
· Session chairs will have timecards to inform presenters when they are reaching the end of their allotted time. Presenters exceeding the time will be asked to stop.
· Please ensure your presentation is either in PowerPoint or PDF format.
· Presentations will need to be uploaded at least 24hrs before your session. Details to follow.
· Please ensure your presentation file name starts with the surname of the first author.
· Please ensure your presentation is as accessible as possible, considering font and font size; colour-blind friendly colour schemes; and figure size.
Poster Presentations
· Posters must be printed by the presenter in advance of the conference.
· Posters can be hung from the morning of Tuesday 30th March and must be hung before the poster session that evening. Posters can remain on poster boards until the end of the conference.
· Posters should be A0 (width = 84.1 cm x height = 118.9 cm) in portrait/vertical orientation.
· Please ensure your poster is as accessible as possible, considering font and font size; colour-blind friendly colour schemes; and figure size.
